Process Piping Whether your project needs are thin-wall tubing or double extra heavy large bore pipe, our experienced field personnel can assist with your existing or new plant installation requirements. Our experience with welded, threaded, soldered and mechanical jointed pipe utilizing materials from CPVC to stainless steel includes: •Hydraulic •HVLP air•Industrial & RO water•Pneumatic conveying•Hydrogen•Water/Glycol•Chemicals•Adhesives•Oxygen•Vacuum•Nitrogen•Printing Ink•Natural Gas•Steam and condensate•Compressed air Our pipe welders are qualified to ASME Section IX welding procedures in carbon and stainless steel materials. We can also provide GTAW and SMAW welding for either open-butt or socket-welded configurations. Radiography, ultrasonic or dye-penetrate non-destructive testing may also be performed per ASME/ANSI B31.1 and B31.3 standards in conjunction with hydrostatic testing.

Optical Services Our alignment concepts being with examination of the applied engineering fundamentals, machining datum points, and the assembly procedure, to function as an extension of the original manufacturing process. Utilization of our optical equipment in conjunction with traditional mechanical methods will provide a permanent record of your machine alignment indications.The hallmark of our alignment program is our optical equipment, closely coupled with our trained technical staff. Precise geometric positioning of individual components to create a complete production line is capable with instrument accuracy’s of 1 Arc-Second (that is less than 0.0006 inches at a distance of 10 feet). Today’s properly applied optical instruments are capable of achieving or exceeding measurement tolerances for production facilities that were once reserved for controlled laboratory environments.AIS has worked closely with many manufacturers over the past two decades to satisfy the ever increasing need for more exacting tolerances and repeatability during the installation processes. To achieve these goals, every instrument is in a constant state of verification and calibration prior to, during, and after each project. All of our instruments are checked and maintained in our custom-built optical calibration laboratory where their histories are tracked for maximum accountability. Pump Clean Services Our unique Pump Clean system dissolves complex water scale, lime, mud, and rust deposits from virtually any water based equipment. Deposits in chili roll stands and printing unit vibrator rollers are removed without the need for mechanical disassembly. Our biodegradable cleaning agent does not require special handling or disposal and is safe to be disposed of down the sewer when the project is complete.Long before your equipment overheats, stopping or slowing production to below desired speeds, the water system deposit build-up will gradually reduce temperature transfer abilities, increase utility costs, shorten chilling and pump equipment life, and eventually cause complete catastrophic rotary union failures. Regular system cleaning with our Pump Clean system can extend equipment life and reduce energy costs with only hours of preventative cleaning.Our non-hazardous, non-corrosive, non-injurious, non-toxic, yet fully biodegradable Pump Clean agent is heavily fortified with wetting and penetrating agents that actually dissolves deposits created by water, additives, and other water processing equipment. While the solution is exothermic, it does not cause substantial temperature increases during the flushing process. This process will not corrode, erode, attack, oxidize, or have other deleterious affects on any metals, hoses, seals, or other materials found in process water systems. Transportation and Warehousing Whether your moving across the street or across the country, our specialized fleet is equipped to provide traditional, oversized, or other custom transportation services.AIS has D.O.T. Interstate hauling authority and excellent working agreements with the top national carriers as well. Our South-Central Pennsylvania locations are conveniently located approximately ninety minutes from the Port of Baltimore, and two hours from the Port of Philadelphia to receive or deliver your overseas shipments.Our transportation specialists can make all of the necessary arrangements for equipment or container pickup, unloading, and container return.Equipment storage is available in either climate controlled or non-climate controlled warehousing space, all of which are protected by state of the art security and fire detection systems. Other warehousing services include: new and used equipment cleaning, maintenance and repairs, pre-assembly, waterproofing – packaging – crating – and loading for overseas shipment.

Project Management Successful and timely project completion requires meticulous management of all project facets including: safety conformity, cost basis, task scheduling, manpower utilization, equipment requirements, materials tracking, multi discipline coordination, and much more.
